Daily Rituals

Your information

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Daily Rituals is developed by David Nemyrych. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app or contact support.

Rituals and completion history

Your ritual names, schedules, completion records and preferences are stored on your device. They are not sent to the developer as part of ordinary habit tracking. The app does not require a Daily Rituals account.

iCloud and device backups

In versions that support iCloud synchronization, enabling it stores and synchronizes app data through Apple’s iCloud services associated with your Apple Account. Availability depends on your app version and device settings. Apple’s processing is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Your device’s system backup settings may also include app data independently of synchronization.

Exported backups

When you export a JSON backup, you choose where to save or share it. The file contains your ritual data and history. We do not receive it unless you deliberately share it with us. You control copies saved in Files, cloud storage or other locations.

Feedback and customer support

Sending feedback is optional. The in-app form sends the selected category and message over HTTPS. Our Google Apps Script service stores those fields and a receipt timestamp in a private Google Sheet accessible to the developer. The app does not add your name, email address, advertising identifier or device identifier to this feedback payload.

If you include personal information in your message, we receive it. Please avoid sending sensitive information. If you contact us by email, we also receive your email address and the contents or attachments you choose to send.

We use support information to handle requests, investigate bugs and improve the app in response to feedback. We do not use it for advertising, cross-app tracking or user profiling. Google processes the feedback service data under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy. Network and email providers may process technical connection information when delivering a request.

Optional tips

Where available, optional tips are processed by Apple through in-app purchases. Apple handles payment information; we do not receive your card details. The app uses StoreKit transaction information to verify and complete a purchase. Purchase records held by Apple are managed under Apple’s policies.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use app data for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. Apple may provide App Store statistics or diagnostics according to your Apple privacy and sharing settings.

Retention and deletion

Local ritual data remains in the app’s storage until that storage is removed or replaced. Archiving a ritual preserves its history and is not deletion. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage; exported files, system backups and any iCloud copies are separate and must be managed in the relevant Apple or storage settings.

Support correspondence and feedback are retained only as long as needed to address the request, resolve related issues or meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of information you sent by contacting us below. For feedback without an identifier, include the approximate submission date, category and enough of the message to locate it. Do not send additional sensitive information. We cannot retrieve local ritual records that you have not shared with us.

Security and service providers

We use HTTPS for in-app feedback and restrict access to the support spreadsheet. Service providers process information to deliver storage, support, hosting, email or payments. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Daily Rituals is a general-audience app. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion of information a child has submitted.
